So what does the current landscape of gesture technology look like?
Several technologies are being used for gesture recognition, each of which has its own unique advantages and disadvantages. Most computer vision peripherals on the market today combine 3D depth-sensing cameras with IR cameras to extend their range of gesture recognition.
